To the members of the Maryland-Delaware Chapter,
On behalf of the Executive Board, I wish to extend an invitation to join us at the FBINAA MD-DE Chapter 2017 Annual Business Meeting on Friday, December 1, 2017, beginning at 1000 hours followed by lunch. This Annual Chapter Business Meeting is an important event where you will be provided a fiscal review, update from the FBI and National Academy, the future of the Chapter, a short presentation on Youth Leadership, and vote for a new Board member.
We are excited to announce that as a result of several successful years of building partnerships with sponsors there will be NO charge to attend this year’s luncheon/meeting. We plan and hope that we can maintain a healthy financial position to continue this practice as well as offer more cost reductions in the future. We are asking that all members attending the business meeting to please email Dan Galbraith at galbraithd@harfordsheriff.org to register so that we have enough seats and food. No registration forms are needed. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. This year the Annual Business Meeting will be at the Courtyard Marriott Newark – University of Delaware 400 David Hollowell Dr. Newark, Delaware 19716.
Additionally, at the Annual Business Meeting a new member of the Executive Board is voted into office at the position of Sergeant-at-Arms. Each year the selection of a new Board member rotates between the states; this year the selection must come from Delaware. Any active FBINAA member, who is also a member of the MD-DE Chapter, interested in serving is asked to submit a letter of interest to Chapter President John Campanella via email at JCampanella603@gmail.com prior to Friday, November 17, 2017. Please include a short resume and why you wish to serve on the Executive Board. An election will be held at the Business Meeting proceeded by each candidate giving a short introduction speech to the group. Executive Board members serve for five years advancing through the ranks of Sergeant-at-Arms, 1st Vice President, Vice President, President, and Immediate Past President. If you need additional information email President John Campanella.
We look forward to seeing you at the Annual Business Meeting!
